Introducing the Ramandala App

A mandala is an ancient symbol found in cultures across the world, from Buddhist sand paintings to medieval rose windows. Its circular form represents an offering of the whole universe and it has long been used for meditation, contemplation, and creative focus. People follow its symmetry and colour to settle the mind and encourage reflection.

This app offers a modern way to explore that tradition. It generates endlessly varied mandala patterns for your amusement, relaxation, or curiosity.

If you are new here, you can simply press Next and enjoy the experience. The app will generate a steady stream of mandalas for you to watch, explore, or relax with. Nothing else is required.

If you want to experiment, you can open Cycle Mode. This mode lets you adjust the settings that shape a mandala, such as the number of motifs, the number of rings, the colour scheme, and the density of micro patterns. Once you choose your settings, the app will cycle through every variation of that design. It is a good way to see how small changes create very different patterns.

When you enter the player, you can pause the animation, skip forward, like a mandala, or share it with others. If you like a mandala, it is saved in the global list of liked mandalas. You only have a limited number of likes each day, which encourages intentionality and helps keep the list meaningful.
